Marina Facilites:

Berth: for a 10-meter boat €20:00
Electricity: Free
Water: Free,
Shower: Free, found behind the restaurant, need to walk through the customers eating outside. Note: it's a steam room on a hot day.

Old rail bridge

This is why we always keep an eye out, you never know what will be in the canals, even a Portaloo

Right in the middle of the canal, doesn't matter what country you are in there are still bored teenagers.

Berth at marina

At the end of the marina near where all the permanent boats are is a very nice, grassed area.

Needed new chairs and because we are a short ride to IKEA we will try there first.
Great we found some we both like and they fold flat, now to get them home.

Great job Martin, they look great.

Marina Facilites:

Berth: for a 10-meter boat €15:00
Electricity: Free
Water: Free,
Shower: Free

Wi-Fi: good

The marina has mainly pole moorings, the poles are 3.6 meters apart, Sun Chi is 3.5 meters wide so was a very tight fit, when we noticed how tight it was, we quickly brought all the fender in, now the walk ways are blocked. We were both happy once we finally got our lines on.

Philip's Museum (Think light bulbs, electric shavers, etc but more recently they have been very much into medical equipment)

The old Workshop

In the Philips Museum Cafe, Cooky in the shape of the Philip logo and the vases are old light globes

Philips are very much into medical equipment. When the company started to grow, they had their own medical center for the staff and their family and was the first company to pay staff sick leave.

Same marina different spot, we asked if there was a free spot near a dock so we could get our bikes off.

Martin helping with the Grocery shopping, needed a coffee and biscuit break first.

Air for tyres, €1 for 6 minutes

Love this widow

We are seeing a lot of these electric bikes this year, some go faster than a scooter.

Setting up for the International Creative Women fair.

Marina has a new dock on the left-side as you go in and a wall on the right-side and is close to town. On the right-side of the marine there is a bakery called Alma Broodlab, I'm calling it, they have the best Croissants I have had this season. Be aware they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Manual bridge, the Harbour master does all the work from the center of the bridge.

Marina looking towards the enter to the marina

10:30PM

Short walk to the Albert Heijn (supermarket) from the marina and from there another short walk to the center of town.

The fence surrounding the Cemetry.

Two photos inside peoples homes.

Different ways to travel

Tugboat festival, we stayed longer to enjoy the festival.

Pizza

50 cents to use the toilets

Just because I liked the color.

Textile Museum and a working factory. Couldn't take many photos of the working machine, they don't want anyone taking their designs.

Martin demonstrating the finger puppets in the Textiles shop

Inside Alma Broodlab, best croissants this year, love the open plan.

Nice marina with plenty of trees around and seats looking out to the marina, it was a shame the seats were in the sun in the afternoon.
