In the last post I mentioned a list, well we know this place had a lot on the list but no supermarket and it's 10 kms from the nearest town so we stocked up on food to last a week.
Once we arrived at the marina and was shown to our berth we found out the WiFi doesn't reach the dock. We talked to some of the locals on the same arm to find out the WiFi only reaches the docks close to the office and they are only for the small sport boats.
We are committed to stay for the week so we will make the most of it, as it does have a Washing machine and drier.

In this photo you can see the Marina on the left, you won't be able to see our boat, but you can see the arm we are on, it's the last one. |
On the 16th May, our neighbours offered to take us to the town to a supermarket, then they showed us Haibach ob der Donau at favourite place of theirs.
The following photos are of various days of the Marine and surrounding area
Turns out this area use to hold a castle with an internal area of 0.8 hectares, the camp is referred to as a small fort and was allowed to have been laid out for a crew of 100 to 150 men. A 1.65 m thick wall with a horizon battlement only surrounds the rectangular complex. The west of the finds showed that the castle was built around the 5th century. Below is part of the Castle foundation they know about.
Last night we went to the restaurant at the hotel near the Marina, while there a Cruise ship came along, below is the video of them following the u turn in the river.
Goodbye Sankt Agatha
