Berth: for a 10-meter boat €13 a night
Electricity: (50cents per kwh)
Water: €1 Euro gets you 150 liters
Card for the Electricity and water and Showers. €10 deposit which you will get back once you return the card. Same card as Bruges.

Markets in Ghent, well there are a lot

  • Monday: for fresh food and new merchandise, visit the Schooldreef (Gentbrugge)
  • Sunday morning: the Biomarkt on the Ledebergplein (Ledeberg)
  • Sunday: Book market at the Ajuinlei 
  • At the farmers' markets you can buy fresh produce directly from the farmer or cattle breeder. Here are some locations and dates:
    • Wednesday: at Business Center De Punt in Gentbrugge
    • Thursday: at the Vogelenzang
    • Friday: along the Antwerpsesteenweg in Oostakker
    • Saturday: in the Spijkstraat and Halvemaanstraat in Sint-Amandsberg
    • Sunday: on the Charles de l'EpĂ©eplein. 
  • Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8 am to 1 pm, Flea market Nestled in the lap of Ghent’s monumental St. Jacob’s Church sits one of Belgium’s oldest flea markets.

Ghent was one of the largest and richest cities in Europe during the Middle Ages. Its well-preserved medieval architecture reflects this prosperous past. Like Bruges, Ghent boasts beautiful canals that add to its charm.

I don't usually drink beer but I'm getting into the Cherry Beer. Kilkenny was a bust, wasn't creamy at all.
