The plan was to stay at the Yachthafen Trier-Monaise, the first Marina on the left-hand side when going upstream. We plugged into electricity, it didn't work and the showers, we didn't think we had a standard, but these showers proved us wrong. And the cost was the highest we have seen, and they are close to the industrial area.
The cost:
Berth 1,80 Euros per metre per day
Pre person 3,70 Euros per day
Electricity 3,70 Euros per day
Moved on to Wassersportclub Hafen, next marina up the river on the right and on the side the town is on. Cost much better 1,20 euros per meter, 3 euros for electricity and 4 euros which included the showers, water and rubbish. We had to sign a form before we were allowed out of the Marina, Konz has cameras everywhere and you sign to agree to be filmed. Supermarket is walking distance from the marina with plenty of restaurants to choose from.
